Jailed for kidnapping wife who wanted bigger

Some men like big boobs. And some men like them just as they
are.
But James McCarthy went to extremes to stop his wife having
a boob job - he kidnapped her to prevent her having her breasts
enlarged.
The 27-year-old dragged her out of a hospital ward and threatened
to kill her if she went ahead with the procedure, the Old
Bailey in London was told.
McCarthy was jailed for 20 months after he admitted the kidnap
offence on February 9 this year.
"Don't do it. I like you as you are," he told his
wife as he dragged her out of a ward at St Bartholomew's Hospital
in the City of London.
Mrs McCarthy (27), became hysterical and pleaded with hospital
staff to save her and that she feared he would kill her, the
court heard.
She turned up for her surgery with a black eye, the prosecution

She was in the course of telling a hospital worker all about
it when McCarthy turned up claiming he had a knife.
"This defendant did not want his wife to undergo an augmentation
operation," said defence lawyer Michael Gomulka.
"He did not think it was necessary. He was also worried
about the surgery itself."
The court was told McCarthy, of Canning Town, east London,
had a history of violence towards two previous partners and
his current wife, with whom he has a nine-month child.
His estranged wife did not go ahead with the breast surgery
after the incident.
