Guinness World Records is waiting on final evidence before
deciding whether Nepal's shortest man can be named the shortest
in the world.
14-year-old Khagendra Thapa Magar is only 20 inches
(50 centimeters) tall and weighs in at a mere 10 pounds (4.5
kilograms).
While Guinness does not have categories for shortest children,
a person under 18 years old can be named the shortest man
as long as it can be shown he is fully grown.
A spokesperson for Guinness said they were waiting on the
final pieces of evidence, including birth certificate and
doctors' reports, before making a decision.
